Our Process:
From beginning to completion, our renovation process involves five integral stages, each involving specific tasks, considerations, and requirements.
The Discovery Phase
Also known as our initial planning and research phase. At this time, we’ll work alongside you to define renovation goals and objectives, establish a budget that aligns with you, and partner you with an interior design professional based off of your unique project needs to assess & research a variety of design inspirations for your space.
Design Development
During this stage of your renovation, we’ll work closely with our interior design partners to develop a detailed Project Design Plan, determine the full scope of work and timelines. We’ll also finalize obtaining project permits in this stage to ensure a seamless renovation. We’ll also be selecting and ordering project materials and finishes to ensure we stay on track with our timeline.
Construction & Install
Once your home has been fully prepared with any necessary protective materials, the construction phase begins! In accordance with our Project Design Plan, the WorkPro team will work to install new flooring, structures, kitchen, bath, and more. During this phase, our clients receive consistent communication to ensure they’re aware of every update or progress on the transformation.
Final Project Inspections
The last coat of paint and any final touches are done! Next, we’ll work with local authorities to obtain the final inspection reports for the completed project.
Project Completion
At this final project stage, we welcome our clients to fully immerse themselves back into their fully transformed space! We’ll coordinate final walk throughs with you to ensure 110% satisfaction with your new home, as well as handover any necessary documents and warranty paperwork.

Can I live in my home during renovations?
Living in your home during a renovation has benefits and disadvantages. Depending on the size of your home, the areas being renovated and how large your family is, you may want to consider making temporary living arrangements during the project.
Many of our clients with children have lived in their home through renovations, however, it is important to consider that construction noise can be an inconvenience.
As a family-built business, we understand that not every client is able to live elsewhere during renovations. We do recommend our clients live elsewhere for full renovations or renovations to key spaces (such as kitchen or bathrooms) in your home.
Who are your interior designers?
We collaborate with various excellent designers and teams that regularly consult with our clients through key stages of their renovation to ensure total client satisfaction.
WorkPro regularly partners with award winning Vancouver design teams, like Designs By KS.
Depending on your project’s needs, the WorkPro team will pair you with one of our design partners who we feel aligns best with your unique requirements and desires.
What happens if unexpected issues arise?
At times, we may encounter unexpected property issues or damages during the demolition and construction phase, such as mold or structural issues.
When these situations arise, we alert our clients immediately and help guide them to the best potential solutions and options. This way our clients are able to make informed, time-conscious, and cost-effective decisions on the path forward.
