Ready to Renovate in The Lower Mainland?

Welcome to the WorkPro Contracting Blog!

If you're looking to have renovations completed in your space in Maple Ridge, the Lower Mainland, or the Vancouver Area, you've come to the right place. We’ll be covering commonly asked questions from previous clients, as well as sharing helpful information and essential tips if you’re looking to have renovate your home in the Lower Mainland.

Earlier this year, a WorkPro client had approached our team asking if we could do multiple home renovations for her, as she had lived in her home for several years without any upgrades completed. We realized this client, amongst many other of our clients, may be initially feeling extremely overwhelmed and unsure with the process of beginning renovations if they haven’t undergone renovations in the past.

So to help our clients understand the process of renovations, this post is a part of our new blog series aimed at helping you understand our renovations process, as well as to help eliminate unneeded stress on your end if you’re unsure of the process and what are the steps to realize your project.

The first recommendation we make to any client when they’re wanting to get renovations done is to have a general idea of what frustrations you’re having with your home.

Some general challenges we commonly hear from our customers are:

  • They’re having trouble with the limited amount of space in their living area or kitchen

  • They need a private office area that they can work from home in

  • Their bathrooms are outdated, and they want to modernize the space

  • They want a fantastic outdoor area that is great for hosting family & friends

If our clients are able to come to us with a general idea of issues they’re having within their spaces, it can end up saving them a substantial amount of time and money in the long run. However we don’t expect any client to come to us with the solution to their problems, that’s our specialty.

We partner with a team of local, award-winning interior designers on every renovation project we complete to create a customized plan for every WorkPro client. Having experts onboard means that we can help you take care of every detail of your project, no matter the size. We don’t want you to stress about rushing to find a solution to your home frustrations, leave that to us.

As budgeting is a crucial part of every renovation, our next blog post will cover our process for creating and delivering project estimates, some key points on renovation budgeting, and more.
